Servant Leader
Servant's Heart Local & Global Ministries

Hello, my name is Lou Martinez, and I am a follower of Christ.
For over 40 years, I’ve been blessed to serve in many ways — through military service, owning a restaurant, founding a nonprofit for at-risk youth, and serving as a Missions Pastor in Douglasville, GA. In those seasons, I gave much of myself to others, but over time, I faced burnout.
In His wisdom, God allowed a period of rest and reflection, which included serious health challenges, including a heart attack. While walking through cardiac rehab, I came to realize that God’s call on my life wasn’t finished.
Today, I volunteer at a local hospital’s Cardiac Rehab Center, walking alongside those facing physical and spiritual struggles. These moments of quiet service have reignited my passion for ministry and reminded me that serving others is not a role — it’s a way of life rooted in Christ’s love.
This journey led to the birth of Servant’s Heart Local & Global Ministries — not as a formal organization, but as a Spirit-led movement to obey Christ’s command to take the gospel to the unreached and encourage others to live out their faith in action.
I’m not trying to reinvent the wheel. In fact, many incredible ministries and organizations are already doing powerful work. My heart is simply to support, connect, and partner with them — loving and serving wherever God opens the door — to make a real impact for His Kingdom.
