SERVe, SERVE, and SERVE
Local outreach & Care Ministries
At Servant’s Heart Local & Global Ministries, we believe ministry begins by walking with people through real life — during seasons of grief, sickness, hardship, loneliness, and spiritual growth.
Our Local Outreach & Care Ministries exist to love, encourage, pray for, disciple, and support individuals and families in our community through the hope of Jesus Christ.
Whether someone needs prayer, a hospital visit, grief support, spiritual guidance, or connection to local resources, we want them to know they are not alone.
Pastoral Care Ministry:
Life can become overwhelming. Sometimes people simply need someone who will listen, care, pray, and stand beside them during difficult moments.
Our Pastoral Care Ministry provides:
-
Hospital visitation
-
Home visits when possible
-
Prayer support by phone or in person
-
Encouragement during illness, crisis, grief, or personal struggles
-
Spiritual support for individuals and families
-
Emergency prayer requests
We are here to remind people that God sees them, loves them, and walks with them even during life’s hardest seasons.

Mending Hearts – Adult Grief Support Program:
Grief changes everything. Losing a loved one can leave people feeling broken, isolated, confused, and emotionally exhausted.
Mending Hearts is a Christ-centered grief support program created to help individuals process loss in a safe, loving, and supportive environment.
This program is designed for adults who have experienced the death of:
-
A spouse
-
Child
-
Parent
-
Sibling
-
Family member
-
Close friend
Participants will receive:
-
Biblical encouragement
-
Group support and connection
-
Practical grief guidance
-
Healthy emotional tools
-
Prayer and healing support
-
A safe place to share their journey
Our goal is not to “fix” grief, but to help people walk through it with hope, support, and healing.
Mending Hearts – Youth & Sibling Grief Support:
Children and teenagers often grieve differently than adults. Many young people silently struggle after losing a sibling, parent, friend, or loved one.
Our Youth & Sibling Grief Support Program provides a caring environment where youth can:
-
Express emotions safely
-
Talk about loss openly
-
Learn healthy coping skills
-
Build friendships with others experiencing grief
-
Receive encouragement and spiritual support
This program is especially focused on helping siblings and youth who have experienced traumatic loss or death within their family.
We want every young person to know they are seen, heard, loved, and supported.
Resource Connection Ministry:
Many individuals and families simply need help finding the right support systems and community resources.
Our Resource Connection Ministry helps connect people with:
-
Food assistance programs
-
Clothing and household support
-
Counseling referrals
-
Grief resources
-
Community organizations
-
Shelter and emergency assistance
-
Local churches and ministries
-
Volunteer opportunities
We believe the Church should work together with community organizations to bring hope and practical help to those in need.
Discipleship Pathway Program:
Spiritual growth does not happen overnight. Our Discipleship Pathway Program is designed to help individuals grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus Christ and develop a stronger biblical foundation.
Using the Discipleship Pathway book created by Lou Martinez, participants will learn:
-
Foundations of the Christian faith
-
Prayer and devotional life
-
Understanding Scripture
-
Spiritual growth and maturity
-
Serving others with purpose
-
Living out the Gospel daily
This program is designed for:

-
